Mama "shiok sendiri" again...

Today I am in complete good mood as my boss is not around…. Yahooooo!!! Finally I have time to write…

Something light…

Both my girls like to play with their wooden blocks whenever they feel like they want to… I enjoy seeing their build up… very creative & some of them are really nice…
We had this set since August 2007…

Have a look…

I collected these over time… All designs originated from Xuan Xuan…

*Ahem…All Rights Reserved*

More from Xuan Xuan…

These simplier versions are from Wen Wen…

You wouldn’t believe it…sometimes my 2 girls will request me or my husband to snap photo for them if they feel that they have “construct” a nice “building”… that’s the reason we can see the above photos…

They are satisfy playing those wooden blocks, they are even more “shiok” when they destroy it end of the session before keeping it back into its box.

This is another way to keep them busy… and I am free to do whatever I like!!!

Quick Updates

I would like to say ‘thank you’ for being my sincere friends. Even though you don’t leave me any comments but you do read my stories. Few of my friends called me up these few days to check on my Xuan Xuan’s condition after reading my post. My little fragile heart has been touched by your warmest regards. Really though… Thanks Thanks Thanks for being my friend… Sometimes a short call or even a short message will keep the relationship going far…agree?

Alright! Just a quick updates! After that Monday, Xuan Xuan ‘ponteng’ again last Thursday also!! That’s because of the ‘Chap Goh Mei’! No one free to send her to school, what a lousy excuses!!

I send her to school last Friday… so far so good… I’m very grateful to one of the 6-yr-old girl, her name is Yee Teng. She is very very sweet. Since last Monday, she already started to take care of my Xuan Xuan. She holds her hands, bring her everywhere, she talk to her, the way Yee Teng treat Xuan Xuan is just like taking care of a little sister.

Because of her also, Xuan Xuan started to love school. Yee Teng makes my work so much easier… no need to force Xuan Xuan to school.

Yesterday, I send Xuan Xuan to school, I started to look for this sweet girl, but she was not seen. I passed Xuan Xuan to one of the assistance (an old aunty who helps out in the kindergarten). Xuan Xuan is very attached to her, I don’t know why… so yesterday done! This morning, I did the same…. I was looking for Yee Teng… can you believe it, I depends on this little girl to take care of my Xuan Xuan… OMG!!!

I’m not sure whether my mind working properly or not! I pass Xuan Xuan to Yee Teng because I hope and I wish and I pray that one day Xuan Xuan will be like Yee Teng take care of the juniorsss…be more sociable and have more friends. I really want Xuan Xuan to mingle around, I don’t really care whether she can read or write at her young age (of coz if she can really read & write at her young age, I would be pleased & laugh out loud through my sleep!!!).

Do you think teacher or this little girl can do a better job in terms of turning my timid & shy Xuan Xuan to be a brave & out going girl?

Ok, come back to this morning…. When I handed my Xuan Xuan to Yee Teng, she called Xuan Xuan “baby”… so sweet! Then Xuan Xuan gave her a lollipop, happily this girl accepted it… kids are kids, so easy to satisfy & happy. In fact this morning Xuan Xuan was the one requested to bring some sweets for her good friends. Before I left, I reminded her to give those sweets away to her friends. Hhmmm…. Will see…will see…

Xuan Xuan "ponteng" class today!!!

I’m extremely bad mood now! This morning, Xuan Xuan refused to go to school & yes she did skip school today. Not that I agree for her to skip school, that’s the whole darn thing that makes me upset!

The frustration begins…

Early morning, Xuan Xuan told me that she’s tired & didn’t want to go to school. After much coax, she finally agreed to wake up, brush her teeth, uniform on, had her simple breakfast, so far so good. The minute I asked her to wear her socks, she started to cry and again telling me the same thing that she doesn’t want to go to school??? I was like… What?? Why??

I asked Xuan Xuan the reasons that she didn’t want to go to school. She can’t really answer me. After much probing, she finally said “yes” to this question – Is there any naughty boy bully you? I don’t know, and not sure how true could that be, but one thing for sure is that Xuan Xuan is very timid as well as a docile child which I am very pleased with. She hates violence that’s for sure… could it be those little kids’ violence that scares her??? Guess I will have to make another trip to her school tomorrow morning to check it out!

Before that, I scream at her to stop all these nonsense as I was rushing to work (I know I shouldn’t do that but I was really running out of time this morning! And of course I feel terribly bad now). I forced her to wear her socks & shoes & attempted to tuck her in my car! It failed as an evil came!! (My sister is the evil – Not that I wanna call her evil but because of her, it is so difficult to discipline Xuan Xuan. I think only those who stay with their parents or in-laws understand what I mean. When you try to discipline your kid and suddenly somebody just interrupts by saying “he/she is still small”, “they are still kids”, “Give them more time”…etc I just feel like want to kill myself!!!)

Since Xuan Xuan has strong support. She won & skipped school this morning! Arh!!! What a day!!! I hope it wouldn’t drag too long!

Happy Valentine's Day yr 2008

Wah! Time just running that soon and Valentine’s Day is over! How’s your Valentine yesterday? Mine was…

If you think that was my Valentine’s gift… Oh… sorry, I have to say that’s not mine! It has been XX years that I didn’t get Valentine’s gift from my husband… (Wait a minute…I’m still counting…I give up, because I loss counts!)

I can’t say that I’m romantic but I think I have more heart than my husband. There is a little effort at least for buying these from Secret R.

Aha…as expected lots of nagging from me… you are absolutely right...like the Chinese Saying “Dog blood pour on the head”, if you understand what I mean. Nag him till saliva dry then finally I took shower to cool myself down.

Guess what?? My cartoon husband gave me a surprise! (While I was taking shower)

I was stun with my mouth widely open! I never knew that my husband can draw but only after 12 years knowing him!

Hhhmmm… I’m so cool & sweet now… maybe will frame it up… guess it will be a sweet & warm memories after years and years…

Bad Hair Day!!!

AAAHHHHH!!! I almost scream my heart out yesterday when I reached home & saw my 2 'lovely' girls run towards me trying to please me with their new HAIR STYLE!!

Gosh! Whose art work was that??!!! @*#&$&#$!

Seriously, I really don't know whether to laugh or to cry looking at my 2 girls' short-id fringe. I tried so so so hard to smile at them praising them for allowing the barber to cut their hair short & neat. I have to force myself to smile else I’m sure my 2 girls won’t let anybody touch their hair in the future. *I’m sure you do understand what I mean, right?*

They are so pleased with my compliments especially Wen Wen. She told me that she’s clever cause she didn’t cry & she closed her eyes when the uncertified ‘barber’ asked her to do so. In my heart I was like - *&#$&%^ *please do excuse me for that.*

My husband got a shock too when he saw my 2 little ones with their CNY short-id fringe!!! Arhhhh…. Chinese New Year is just 2 days away! How? How? How?

*Forgot to mention that – My sister is the uncertified ‘barber’!* --- fainted Kelly after all these photos…

Various Complaints about my Wen Wen

Actually is not something new that my family members (my parents, my grandmother & sisters) complaint about Wen Wen to me almost every other day when I got back from work. However, today's complaints seem to be never ending...

The moment I entered my parents' house, everyone starts complaining about Wen Wen to me. Here are the major complaints about her:-

First complaint, have a look at these chikus...

My sweetie Wen Wen thrust her finger in each an every of the chiku (probably she is trying to help my mom to check whether the chikus are ripe enough to eat???)
My mom told me that it is still acceptable if Wen Wen just damage 1 chiku & not each chiku one hole!!!

No choice, my mom has to cut all the chikus else the dustbin will be the end destination for those chikus.
Have a look at my Wen Wen besides my mom who is now busy cutting the chikus.

Here comes the chikus...none is perfect...

Second complaint: While my sister is busy preparing these CNY cookies for sale...

Wen Wen is trying to add the salt in the mixture...

Luckily my mom able to stop her just in time, else there might be a new taste emerging for CNY cookies.

Third complaint: While my sister is busy preparing those mixture, Wen Wen also busy preparing hers.... She played with flours & mess is everywhere.... (Thanks to my mom who help to clean up the mess.)

Fouth complaint: Look at this multipurpose rack...Since is low & achievable by my little sweetie...she always like to play with those bottle tomoto sos, kicap & etc...

My mom told me that she nearly emptied the light soy sauce... luckily my mom didn't left the mess for me to clean up...else sure I will smack my Wen Wen nicely...

Guess that's my Wen Wen's schedule while Xuan Xuan is at school kua...
