Let's welcome a new baby boy...

Hhhmmm... Besides my cool war with my husband, there's something make me very happy! One of my ex-collegue has officially becomes a father yesterday!! Congratulations Eric! Welcome to the whole new world! So happy & excited for you! Need any advice, call me, my phone is 24 hours on for you! Once again, congratulations to your newborn baby boy!

I'm in cool war with my husband

Today I’m not in a good mood. I don’t have the heart to work so I decided to leave my work & write down my feeling. Hopefully I will feel better after all the blah…blah… blah…

I feel bad coz it has been 2 full days I didn’t talk to my husband. Yes, we are in cool war & unfortunately till now we are still in cool war! Don’t ask me, I really can’t remember when was the last time we had it! Why? Why? Why are we in such a bad situation now? Maybe because of my feminine hormone is not working properly or maybe I’m unreasonable or maybe we need some cool war in order to strengthen our relationship! I don’t know!!

This cool war happens on Christmas…bad huh! The history begins... Early morning, daddy promised to bring us to 1-Utama’s Popular Bookshop, of course when I heard about shopping, my eyes smile widely!! Shopping wor…which lady doesn’t enjoy it?? *Probably there are, but I don’t know*

After feeding my 2 girls breakfast, I tie their hair & change them with nice pretty dress…then I have to prepare water and etc etc… I did it all alone & where’s my husband?? He is busy reading the newspaper. When things is almost ready, he told me that he is lazy to go shopping as it’s quite late (only about 11am) as he hate the crowd & most of all he hate to go round the parking lot to find a parking space.

That is it!! Fire burning within myself. I rush upstairs straight to the bedroom & sleep! My 2 girls trail from the back. Xuan Xuan asking why I’m sleeping? She’s begging me to wake up to bring her go shopping. Wen Wen follows. I told them I’m tired. *In fact I really was coz preparing this & that, running up & down*. After whining for a while, they both start playing with their old & new toys. After an hour or so, I woke up & start reading & playing with my 2 girls without saying a word with my husband! *until today*

I know is a small matter, I myself also don’t know why I get upset that point of time. I angry because he made empty promises! It is so so so disappointing!! I upset because he is reading newspaper while I have to do all those work by myself?? That’s not the end, while preparing things to go shopping, I have to entertain my 2 girls at the same time!! Is tiring, it really was! Maybe some of you can understand!

Yesterday, I was all alone playing with my 2 girls. We had memorizing game. Although is fun but is tiring. I talked non-stop cause have to teach them the rule to play. I shouted & clap hands when they manage to find the pairs. I make funny faces too in order to add more fun to the game! They enjoy a lots… no photos as I am in cool war with my husband, nobody take photo for us! Will talk more about the game when our cool war stops! Hopefully it won’t last long! *Hmmm….feel much better now*

22/12/07 Winter Solstice Festival (Part 2)

22/12/07 (Saturday) Sunny Day

After the registration, we had a reunion lunch in my parents’ house before we went to my in-laws’ house (20-30minutes drive from my parents’ house).

Blah…blah….blah….blah…blah….blah… Is bath time!! Guess what is so special this time round?? I bought a foam bath from Body Shop for my 2 girls!! Yes, they enjoy it so so so much!

They have been in their small wading pool for more than 30 mins until my mother in law came to check out why they bath so long…*grin* Guess foam bath will be our weekly affair whenever we go back to my in-laws’ house! How I wish I have a bigger wading pool & bigger restroom… then daddy & mommy can enjoy the bubbles together with our 2 sweeties!!

After reunion dinner in my in-laws, we had our very first ‘tang yuen’ rolling session. It has been 3 years I didn’t get a chance to roll ‘tang yuen’ since I have my Xuan Xuan & Wen Wen. This simple session means so much to me.

This time round we only have the white ‘tang yuen’ with red bean paste & pounded peanuts. I enjoy rolling the ‘tang yuen’ with my girls…

Tasting time…*holding my breath*

The above photos tell a thousand words…needless to say…yummy yummy *my assumption...hehe...*

22/12/07 Winter Solstice Festival (Part 1)

22/12/07 (Saturday) Sunny Day

After reading Ellyn’s post on – Kylie’s preschool books, I start panic. Why?? Because in another week’s time, is back to school time! I have not enroll Xuan Xuan in any preschool yet. How?

No panic, no panic, daddy said we will be going to the nearest kindergarten near my house to get it done TODAY! *very confidence that it can be done* we really don’t have much time to visit & compare the kindergarten. Without much thought, the only criteria for us to choose a preschool for Xuan Xuan is the distance from my house, which preschool located nearest to our house win us!

After breakfast, my 2 girls are ready for the move!

Before we left the house, daddy asked me to bring additional RM100 just in case. *We heard of few preschools’ registration fees ranging from RM 800-RM1000 & monthly fees ranging from RM 200-250/month. According to my father, MCA preschool’s monthly fee is only RM120/month as this preschool is sponsored by MCA, so we brought RM500-600 for registration.* We then proceed to this nearest preschool which is only 5-10mins walk from my house. We register Xuan Xuan straight away.

Hah! You won’t believe it! We have to ‘patah balik’ as we didn’t bring enough money for the registration! The registration fee cost us RM700 *Paiseh betul*. No choice, we go back home to top up the money & photocopy Xuan Xuan’s birth cert then we march back to the preschool…

Finally… registration done & these are the things that cost us RM700. *Exclude the school bag - choice of my Xuan Xuan*

Xuan Xuan is so proud of getting all her books & uniforms… she tells everybody that she will be going to school soon! *Hopefully she can take it easily as she is a shy & timid*.

Little Fingers Game

21/12/07 Friday Dry Evening

There’s a small pasar malam near our area every Friday. While daddy is away buying sapper from pasar malam, we had a simple fingers game in the house. How to play the game? Simple: Give instructions to your younger kids to place their fingers/ show them how you want their fingers to look like then place their fingers at different part of their body. Example:
1) Place your thumb under your armpit
2) Put your ‘Pointers’ besides your ears
3) Put 2 fingers on your head

4) Only leave your Thumb & Pinky out, keep your ‘pointer’, ‘tall man’ and ‘ring man’ then put it on your nose. *I know I know, Wen Wen is just being notti placing her pinky in her nostril*

5) Then I said, for the same pattern, I want the Thumb on the nose. *Xuan Xuan doing it right without any problem*

Guess how's my Wen Wen did it???

Then I repeated few more times, “Put your Thumb on your nose”. She is still struggling… Then….hahahah….hahaha…I laugh till my teeth also almost fell off… *at the same time I quickly go grab my camera to snap the above photos*
Wen Wen is trying hard to put the Tongue instead of her Thumb on her nose…. Try to look at the pics again…got the jokes???hahahahhhh…hahahahhhh…

Great Evening with Barney & Friends!

20/12/07 Thursday Sunny + Raining Day

Yeah! Today is public holiday. PH=No work! Early morning, we did some groceries shopping at Giant, Cheras with my mum & my sisters (LeeFen & LeeYien). We had chicken porridge in my mum’s house for lunch before we went back to our own house for a nap!

My children definitely need a nap today, why?? Because they will be going to see Barney & friends this evening! Thanks to Chinnee for sharing the info. Tick tock….tick tock… Time to go to 1 Utama now… My 2 kids are so excited! Singing & asking tonnes of questions in the car… What songs will Barney sing for us? Will Barney carry me? Barney mummy also coming? Etc…

Is quarter plus 7pm by the time we reach 1-U. We are so lucky to get a nice car park just in front of Jusco entrance. We are so so lucky that when we exit Jusco, the big stage for Barney & Friends is just right in front of us… no need for us to go up & down, left & right looking for Barney… really so so so lucky… it has been ages that we didn’t visit 1-U… is so grand now! I can imagine, if we have been to the wrong entrance, sure 8pm, we all not able to meet Barney on time.

Wow!Look at the crowd!

Those kids & parents sitting in a ‘stable’ like area are those lucky kids who can have photo session with Barney & Friends after the show. Little tips to enter the ‘stable’ – No purchase required but you have to register with the staff when the Deejay announces it *I don’t know, maybe 30mins or an hour before the show gua*

I really scared of the crowd, so finally we manage to find a nice place at 2nd floor… Not too bad… when I zoom in I still manage to snap these…

Haha… here are my gals with Little Barney…

Actually after the show, seems like any kids also allow to go up stage to have photo session with Barney & friends. Unfortunately, parents are not allowed to go up stage. Hence, my shy & timorous girls missed the chance!

Anyway, my 2 girls are braved enough to have this…ok also lah…

Busy Saturday 15/12/07 (Part 3)

After my ‘popo’s birthday dinner, is about 10pm but that’s not the end of the story yet. Our night activity continues… as we need to rush to my boss’s Christmas Party! By the time we reached my boss’s house, is about 10.30pm already.

Look at the children, they are playing games… still lots of guests around…luckily! ‘Phew’ *Again wiping off the cool sweat*

Have a closer look at the Santa with Green T-shirt & shorts. He is my mat salleh boss lor…So cute hor!

Look at my 2 girls, they also got the presents from Santa even though they are too young to participate in the games! Me pulak enjoying looking at the kids…so much fun!

The Christmas party ended about 12.30midnight. Before we left, all children are given Christmas party pack. They are happy holding it!

Before we left, I managed to get my 2 girls to stand before the Christmas tree for photo session! You might wondering, what so great about it? I think is amazing for young toddler like them can still smile during photo session even though is past midnight!!!

We reached home around 1.30am. My Wen Wen dozed off in the car before we reached home. Look at my Xuan Xuan… She’s still able to open her eyes wide to take photo with our entire Christmas giftsss!

As Santa arrived early this year, we decided to open our presents early…
Here we go… all the presents are lovely!!!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
May we all have a better 2008!!
Lets us all treasure the remaining days of 2007 before is too late!

Busy Saturday 15/12/07 (Part 2)

Saturday 15/12/07 Extremely Sunny Day

After the playgroup, we have been to Jusco to source for some Christmas gifts. These gifts are to be used later. I personally like those gifts; hopefully the one who gets it likes it too! Wanna know what was the gift? No problem, here we go…

We had pizza for our lunch. By the time we reached home, it was about 3.30pm. My 2 girls were a bit cranky at that time as they were exhausted *Both woke up very early this morning, about 7.30am.*

They napped at around 4pm & woke up at 6pm!!! Ah!!! We were late! Wondering why? This is the reason… we have to attend my ‘po po’ (grandmother’s) birthday dinner this evening!!! No choice, only me & daddy able to have quick shower. My 2 girls become marinated salted veg today! *sorry girls, don’t scold mommy when u read this*

Here we are at our dining table now waiting to be served…phew! *wiping off the cool sweat*

First dish… ‘Sau Mi’ (Longevity Noodles)

Look at my ‘popo’, she’s so happy!

According to my father, this is the most expensive dish, so I decided to take it down… it cost us RM 280/dish… It is actually a giant sea cucumber with some scallops in… if you like sea cucumber; sure you will enjoy this dish.

Yeah Yeah! Time to blow candles! Look at me, use the microphone to sing birthday song for my ‘po po’, don’t play play!

I wish my ‘po po’ long life with healthy body! I wish her happy 365 days a year, 24hours a day! I love her so much. She is as dearly as my mother. She looked after me when I was still a baby. She is so precious to me, she give me lots of advice & guidance when things are not right, especially when my kids are sick. She has her own special way to treat sickly baby. I love listening to her story & experience. I don’t even dare to think what is going to happen to me without her. I promise I will give you my best within my ability while you are still around. “popo” Wo ai ni!

After my words from my bottom of my heart, now is cake cutting time!

This photo is very precious to me, and I wish to share it with everyone who visited my blog. All my uncles, aunties, cousin sister/brother & my very own family members are here. All are from my ‘popo’ & my late grandfather. Have you ever think how big your family can grow when you are at your 80s??

Busy Saturday (Part 3 on the way...)

Busy Saturday 15/12/07 (Part 1)

Saturday 15/12/07 Extremely Sunny Day

My family had a busy Saturday…

Early morning, we were attending our enjoyable playgroup.
Times really fly… my turn again on duty to prepare craft for our little genius!
A day before, you can imagine how busy I was to cut all this colorful circle for our kids…

Wondering what we are doing with all these circles???
They ultimately will become…. “ching ching ching….”

Yes you are right, they will becomes fishes, bubbles and fishes’ eyes.
What a nice & simple craft with just different sizes & colorful circles… *ya ya ya , I know mommy always shiok sdr, sorry lor*
Look at this photo… ugly hor…

That’s my daddy’s art! *Sorry daddy, your art doesn’t meet my expectation*

Hah! My sister is kind enough to help me make this little fruit tart for the kids during their snack time.

A closed up…

Looks yummy hor… My 2 girls enjoy it so much! Each of them had 2 fruit tarts before they play with those circles…

That’s our morning activity… To be continued with “Busy Saturday Part 2” for Evening activity…
